Any other button in the app that you should be able to click on, doesn't work. All it does is open the displays page in settings. However, when I was messing around trying to find the ways to maximize the use of the screen I stumble upon probably the dumbest app ever to exist. Only one cord into my mac, which is just dandy. The USB-C connection charges my computer as well so I can have the lid closed and use a USB-ethernet on the back of the monitor for better internet. I stumbled upon that monitor and it has quite a few functions which is awesome! I have my Mac, a Wii, and a PS3 all connect at once and just need to switch inputs to change. LG OnScreen Control - Allows you to split the screen in to dockable regions that windows can expand to, quite useful for productivity.I have an LG UHD Ultra Fine 4K monitor that I really wanted to use for my MacBook air to have a bigger screen.Also this monitor supports Nvidia's new compatibility with Freesync. G-Sync - Nvidia's mechanism for syncing output of the card with the monitor, helps reduce tearing.With the software you can also sync the colours to the output of your screen or speakers. This can be controlled via a button at the front of the screen or via the LG Ultragear control center. Cool Lighting - The back of the monitor lights has a giant LED ring that can light up.Amazing Specs - Toted at up to 175hz, 1ms response this is a beast of a monitor.As I bought this during the lockdown this was useful as I'm switching between my gaming PC and Laptop. HDMI/DP Connections - Both DisplayPort (for max settings) and HDMI are both supported so this can be easily switched between devices.
Sharp - It's a sharp screen on the Nano IPS and is smooth when running at 120hz which I've current got set up (See below for why).Super large - Sitting at 38 inches it's a very wide monitor, this did take a few days to get used to but it's great now.
